KIDS CAMPS
We have the programs to keep your kids busy this summer.
 SUMMER DAY CAMP: The Recreation Department will once again have a Summer Day Camp for children ages 5 (by 6/01/10) thru 11 years of age. Day Camp is held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., June 7, 2010 thru July 16, 2010. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED IN PERSON. A limit of 50 children will be accepted. Registration runs from May1-June1. Cost: Residents - $110 per child Non-Residents - $120 per child. Registration
*$10 will be taken off the price of each additional child registered by parent or guardian*
CHEERLEADING CAMP: Be a cheer ahead of the game. Registration
A cheerleading camp will be offered July 19th – July 23rd, 2010 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Round House. This camp will involve sideline cheers, a floor cheer and assistance with mounts. 4th through 8th grade students are invited. Registration runs from May 1st – July 19th. The fee is $25.00 for the camp.
JR. CHEERLEADING CAMP: Come and learn your favorite cheer. Registration
K-3rd grade students are invited to attend a cheerleading camp where they will be introduced to the fun of cheerleading. The camp will be held from July 26th – July 30th, 2010 from 9am-11am at the Round House. Call 251-3130 for further details. The fee for the camp is $25.00. Registration May 1st – July 26th.
POM POM CAMP: Come and jazz up your summer. Registration
This camp will introduce and instruct students in Poms. The camp will be held August 2nd – August 6th, 2010 from 9am-11am at the Round House. Registration runs from May 1st – August 2nd. The fee is $25.00 for the camp. Call 251-3130 for more details.
SUMMER GYMNASTIC CAMP: Aim for the next Olympics. Registration
Gymnastics will be offered for pre-school through Jr. High children. Instructions on the balance beam, uneven bars and vault, as well as tumbling techniques are given. Classes will run from August 5th – August 26th, 2010. Thursdays from 4:30-8pm. Registration runs from May 1st-August 5th. SOCCER CAMP: Let your kids get a kick out of this summer. Registration
The Wood River Recreation will be conducting a soccer camp for boys and girls ages 5-17. Each participant will receive a T-shirt. The dates of the camp will be July 26th – July 30th at Wood River Soccer Park. Time: 6:00pm – 7:15pm.To register at the Round House. Registration deadline: July 26th The Fee is $25.00 for the camp.
SKATE CAMP: Learn all the new moves and increase your skills. Registration
The Wood River Recreation Department is offering Skate Camp at the Wood River Skate Park. Group Instruction/Group Activity/One-on-One Instruction. Spend time refining your new skills. Age Groups - Children 8 - 12 & Children 13 – 15.
